Why Should I Use a Lubricant?
Lubricants enhance the pleasure of intimate contact regardless of need, but the simple fact is most women do need extra lubrication. Gynecologists prefer that all women keep a lubricant handy. Did you know 75% of us are chronically dehydrated? It’s true! If we don’t drink 64 oz. of pure clear water (not tea or any other substitute) every single day (not during meals) then we are dehydrated. Our bodies are forced to make tough choices. Vaginal Lubrication is the least necessary fluid we have so it is the first thing to be sacrificed. Our bodies would rather have lubrication in our eyes and in our mouths. As if that’s not bad enough we further that dehydration by:
1 ~ Drinking Alcohol
2 ~ Eating and Drinking Caffeine
3 ~ Too Much Fat, Sugar and Salt in the Diet
4 ~ Taking Drugs (i.e. birth control pills, antidepressants and antibiotics)
5 ~ Chemotherapy
6 ~ Hysterectomy
7 ~ Pregnancy and Childbirth
8 ~ Breastfeeding
9 ~ PMS, Depression, Anxiety, Fear and Anger (all emotions with a drug-like
effect)
10 ~ Menopause
11 ~ Inadequate Foreplay
A few other things that require us to use additional lubrication are: bedroom toys, ceiling fans, decreased blood flow, variety of positions, condoms, marathon sex, lack of time for foreplay, water sex, etc…
The most important thing a lubricant will do is take the performance pressure off women. In some women the anxiety of “Having to get turned on” is enough to turn them OFF! When you introduce a lubricant it takes all the performance pressure off so that you can just have fun and enjoy the sex without “performing”. Lubricants are also a great way to cut down on infection, because there is no chaffing and anytime you introduce a lubricant you feel more. You are more sensitive and that leads to faster more complete orgasms. Just remember, when it comes to sex, WETTER IS BETTER!!!!
